FAQ
Do you buy vintage/secondhand items?
Yes! It is our goal to have the majority of our vintage items sold in our store to be brought to us by folks hoping to find new homes for their treasures that they no longer need. Some people choose to donate their items but plenty of folks also receive payment. NOTE: We prefer to keep our prices quite low and so may not offer "top-dollar" for some vintage things. We are happy to talk about this and figure out what the best fit is for you (we want you to feel good about the exchange!)

What kind of things are you looking to buy?
Here's a list, but if you have a question just shoot us an email!
-
Used clothing: good condition or better, preferred to be at least 10 years old OR of new quality natural materials like linen, silk, wool, cotton, etc.
-
accessories including scarves, hats, bags/purses, belts, gloves etc (similar criteria as clothing)
-
Jewelry: we love "costume" jewelry and fine jewelry
-
Decor: we love rustic items and anything made of natural materials such as wood, metal, ceramic, etc. Less interested in plastic anything. We are also looking for prints, framed art, wall art, sconces, and BASKETS! The funkier the better - we love a one-of-a-kind, off-the-wall find!
-
Linens: we love linens! Linens without stains fetch a much better price than those with stains which we usually price between $1-3 for. We like tablecloths, cloth napkins, bedspreads, quilts, throws, etc
-
Kitchen ware: we are looking for silver plated flat wear and serving utensils as well as trivets and copper bottom pots and pans.
-
Dishes: we are NOT buying dish sets or sets of china or tea services, but we might take a look at individual teacup/saucer sets and tea/coffee/hot chocolate pots. Plates and bowls take up a lot of space and typically don't sell for more than $1 each so they aren't practical for us to sell in the store, but we are happy to brainstorm with you what to do with that set you have that no one wants!
-
Glasses: we will take some glasses, but the situation is similar to dishes. We particularly like etched glassware including juice glasses.
-
Barware: we love barware! Shot glasses, cocktail glasses, mixers, bottle openers, drink trays, ash trays, etc.
-
Paper: including postcards, old advertising, old photographs, local history, maps, etc!
-
Outdoors: binoculars, field guides, compasses, pocket knives, old gardening tools, tin buckets, etc
-
Coins: we have a coin collector in the family so yes, we are absolutely interested in buying coins!
-
Books: we sell *some* books in the store but they tend to be related to local history, vintage and antique collecting, field guides, etc. We DO accept book donations and have a designated area for folks to grab a free book!
-
Other miscellaneous items: feel free to send us a picture if you aren't sure where your item fits in this list. We are happy to talk to you about it! Again, we love natural materials and unique finds!

Are you taking new artists?
We are starting to fill up with lovely handmade crafts and so we aren't actively looking to add more consignment artists to the mix, however, we are always happy to chat and see if it could be a good fit.

Do you ship?
Sure! We will ship anything, anywhere at the customer's expense. We are not set up to do a high volume of shipping so expect at least a couple of weeks lead time. Local delivery can be arranged for free!
